In the hopes of giving a little something back during this time of extravagance we would love for guests to bring their favorite children's book to donate to Page Ahead. Page Ahead is the leading provider of children's literacy services in Washington state. Since 1990 Page Ahead has placed over 2 million new books in the hands of 605,000 at-risk children. Jess is in her third year as a Story Time Volunteer with Page Ahead, initially serving the Jennie Reed Elementary School Head Start and Kindergarten classes in Tacoma, WA, and now the Mirror Lake Elementary Kindergarten class in Federal Way. Children's literacy is a cause very near and dear to her heart!
